In the press

Bucky Brown, The Ripple Effect

Throw Uncle Acid, Alunah, and Green Lung into a gold lamp and rub 3 times while in front of a mirror in the dark… Something witchy going on here on this demo by Greenseeker. The riff infested plumes of doom arise with occultic visions and hallucinogenic tone. One to keep your ears on.

Billy Goate, Doomed & Stoned

Bands like The Doors, Deep Purple, and The Who have done remarkable things with the organ sound, but I’m always pleasantly surprised when contemporary acts of various stripes incorporate it successfully into their songs. I’m thinking of Clutch, Mount Salem, Old Blood, Messa, and the four-piece that stands before us today, Oregon’s Greenseeker.

Martin Williams, The Sleeping Shaman

As stoner rock & doom metal have expanded over the last few decades, we’ve seen more and more bands mining, for inspiration, the original, obscure, ‘proto-metal’ bands of the early 70s that ran parallel with Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.... It is here, in that Twilight Zone of hard rock & heavy metal, that Portland Oregon’s Greenseeker dwell.

Joop Konraad, Stoner HiVe

This is a celebration of everything good that once happened in heavy rock. This is music that might warp your brain a little. Not reactionary, no stampeding; just a pure and festive outburst of unpretentious good rock to transport you into another realm all together. Now where did I leave my mescaline?

Helge Neumann, The Ripple Effect

The songs thrive on the interaction between guitars and organ and tempt you to turn up the volume more and more. If you give the album its time to unfold and grow, the listener opens up a world of sound that is full of details and facets.... For me this debut is the surprise of the year and I really hope that the album gets the attention it deserves!

JJ Koczan, The Obelisk

...there’s no specific point at which it “gets heavy.” It simply is.
